Sony HDR-SR12 120GB High Definition Camcorder

Sony HDR-SR12 120GB HD Handycam Camcorder is built around an internal 120GB hard disk drive and is able to record a 1920x1080 of Full HD resolution.

This Sony Handycam is of 5 Megapixel ClearVid™ CMOS Sensor: this CMOS image sensor which delivers bright, vivid, and spectacularly detailed 5 megapixel is recently designed by SONY. Still images can done with 10.2 megapixel.

New features are present in this HDR-SR12 Camcorder like the the advanced Sony BIONZ™ Image Processor which improves camera response time, screens out noise before RAW data conversion and prolongs battery life. The Exmor™ Imaging Sensor makes this Camcorder able to capture video and still photo images with high resolution, high sensitivity, and exceptional detail.

The 120GB HDD is used for the Hybrid Recording : Sony HDR-SR12 has also a Memory Stick slot so without using a PC images can be played directly on a PS3 or shared with other PC.
The Zoom is of 12X Optical and 150X Digital Zoom, also a built-in zoom microphone with 5.1ch recording so user can focuses audio recording with the camera’s zoom lens, helping memories ring true with clear dialogue and crisp, discrete sounds.

The Screen is of 3.2" Wide (16:9) XtraFine™ LCD: It is of 1 megapixel resolution and a wide viewing angle.

The connectivity can be done with others digital devices such SONY BRAVIA TV using HDMI™ Connection. A High Speed USB2.0 is also available provides an easy way to connect camcorder to a PC for fast transfer of video and still images for editing.
Video Recording can be done in SD (simple definition) or HD ( High-Definition). To improve clarity and detail when taking pictures in low-light situations Sony has added a built-in Intelligent Flash.

Sony HDR-SR12 has an "InfoLITHIUM" Battery which is provided with the "Stamina" Battery Power Management System which helps the camcorder prolong battery life for extra long continuous recording times.
