The Necker Nymph is an "underwater plane"! This prototype has been introduced by Richard Branson the chairman of both "Virgin" and "Virgin Atlantic Airlines" companies.
This "submarine-plane" will be able to dive to depths of 10.000 meters (almost 32808.399 feet). Currently the engine can only dive to 40 meters(131.23 feet), the future models will be able to dive deeply.
The Necker Nymph prototype has been inspired from space shuttle. It has small wings and a cockpit offering an amazing 360° view.
According to Richard Branson, 1 week rental of such "underwater plane" will cost about $25.000; add to that the requirement of sojourn in his own island and the rental of his catamaran too.
After the space and the sea, Richard Branson innovations will continue to make what was impossible possible!
